How much can you get for hair

The sum depends on cut length, weight, colour and condition — not on a “price per kilo” from an ad. Below is how to read a quote so the scales are not a surprise.

There is no honest single number “for a kilogram of hair”. Volos Store publishes a corridor of UAH 4,000–20,000 per 100 g. The lower edge is shorter, darker or more worn hair. The upper edge is long, light, dense, untreated hair. Most people land in the middle — and that is normal, not a trick.

On the Volos Store homepage the intake guideline is from 40 cm. The FAQ also mentions 35 cm as a lower bound for review. If you are on the edge, a photo assessment decides — not a calculator from an ad.

What actually moves the number

Length of the future cut, dry weight of the ponytail, how natural the colour is, and whether the fibre is intact. One “beautiful” length does not cover chemistry. Thick short hair is not the same as thin but very long hair. These signs are unpacked in how hair is assessed.

Preview versus money on the card

A quote from photos is a corridor, not a contract. The final figure is after weighing. A fair buyer says that in advance and does not “find a different weight” after the scissors. How to tell that scheme from a transparent one: honest hair buying.

To compare yourself with someone else’s kilo, measure length correctly and weigh a cut ponytail if you already have one. How to do that without typical mistakes — in the measuring guide.

If you dye or have a strong curl, the sum can sit below the upper edge — or hair is taken on other terms. That is a separate topic: dyed and curly hair.

To get a range for your own hair, send photos through the contacts on the homepage or leave a request there. Short answers to typical questions are in the FAQ.
